Police are warning its residents of a rash of home break-ins. In one case, the intruder entered the home in the middle of the night while the homeowners slept.

“My gosh, he could have gone into any of the bedrooms and killed us all,” said Cindy, a Stow resident who’s a victim of a break-in.

Cindy, who only wanted to be identified by her first name, said an intruder entered her home through an unlocked door early Monday morning.

That person stole her two iPads, her husband’s cell phone, a steak and bacon along with cash and gift cards that total $75.
