Bricklaying on the Barn Conversion.
Jumped on the Brickwork this week with another lad. Never laid anything like this before, so it was very interesting applying different techniques and methods to make sure the Brickwork looks aesthetically pleasing.
You can see on Wednesday how I was struggling to flush the bricks as I laid them, compared to Friday where it became 2nd nature.
As mentioned in the video, ideally lime would have been the best option, however as stated, we only have the materials given to us on the job.
The bricks had been covered up for months, but it didn't really help, I assume they couldn't breathe so that's why they were still so wet.
