How to Manually Install the Latest Galaxy S21 OTA Updates | S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra

If you ever get a registration failed message when checking for the latest Galaxy S21 OTA updates then I can show you how to manually download and install them using Odin.

If you have ever unlocked the bootloader if your Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphone then you likely are unable to install OTA updates using the built-in updater.

Trying to do so will likely result in a "failed" message that appears at the bottom of the screen.

This is because KNOX has been tripped and Samsung refuses to update devices that it can't keep protected.

So we have to manually download the firmware (with a program like Frija) and then install it to the smartphone (with a program like Odin).

In this video I show you how to configure the Odin tool and how to set up your Galaxy S21+ so it can be installed.

5. Open Odin and load the firmware files [03:48]
6. When ready, click the "Start" button to begin [08:20]
7. Watch for the green "PASS" message in Odin [09:50]
8. And watch the smartphone reboot with the new OTA update [10:35]
