ILCA/Laser practice 8/4/2024 in San Francisco North Bay. The wind was strong (about 20 knots), so it was a challenging day. Footage includes (1) Tacks, (2) Upwind sailing, and (3) Downwind sailing.
The control lines are fully on in the upwind. The boom was very low with max boom vang, so the tacking was very challenging.
In the upwind, the weather helm is too strong and I could not keep the tiler center. Also, I could not sheet in the mainsheet to the block to block.
In the downwind, I was nervous about not capsizing.
