Initially, The CompanY’ did not have this song on the first printing of their debut album, ‘Yon Na! (Ivory Records 1991). After the massive success of the group’s breakout single, Everlasting Love, the powers that be were hoping to expand the market of The CompanY with this first Tagalog single.

In latter years, Miss Regine Velasquez would cover this simple and charming song composed by the same writers of “Muntik Na Kitang Minahal”.
