Join experts from the University of Miami and Florida International University discussing the United States' and Germany's recent experiences with policies regarding reproductive rights, work/family balance, women in politics, same-sex marriages, and issues of interest to transgender and intersex citizens. How have the experiences of the two countries been similar or different? What can each side learn from the other?

Speakers include Dr. Merike Blofield (University of Miami Women's and Gender Studies Program / Department of Political Science), Dr. Louise Davidson-Schmich (University of Miami Political Science) and Dr. Susanne Zwingel (Florida International University Department of Politics & International Relations).
