Since you guys enjoyed the shoulder anatomy video we did last week, so here is a series showing you the different ways that the shoulder blade moves. This is not to be confused with the shoulder motions (arm and socket). The shoulder blade has its own set of movements that, when combined with the ball and socket movements, will create the most mobile set of joints in the body.

If you want to improve your shoulder control and range of motion, get really good at these simple-looking movements.

For the last one, the easiest way to remember aBduction and aDduction is to think:
Abduction: The limb is being abducted away from the body.👽🛸
Adduction: The limb is being added to the body.

Upward and downward rotation happens when you lift the arm overhead; however, it is possible to control it with enough practice.
