On March 31, 2016 the Center for the Study of Social Difference (CSSD) at Columbia University hosted a round table discussion on the keyword "choice." Each participant was invited to prepare 10 minutes of reflections, which were followed by a dialogue between the participants and the audience members.

"Keywords: Interdisciplinary Roundtable Conversations," started in 2010, is a collaborative effort of CSSD and the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Council (WGSS). The series brings together individuals from a wide range of disciplines to explore the ways in which we think about critical/theoretical ideas in addition to generating new ways of speaking about them.
