In episode four, we move to secure parts of our once-colonial Empire before they are devoured by Brazil. Peru-Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina are all integrated into our network of subjects as protectorates, netting us a very healthy amount of progress toward the growth of our power bloc. We also continue to advance in Africa, securing a strong hold over the entirety of the Sahara. In internal affairs, we continue to liberalize the country in accordance with the ebb and flow of politics, enacting Proportional Taxation, Public Health Insurance, and Protectionism. With national awakenings among the subject peoples of our metropole ongoing, we make the decision to allow them autonomy and full acceptance as primary cultures.

Our first run in the Iberian Twilight expansion pack will be, fittingly enough, as Spain. We will side with the liberals, with the objective of becoming an industrial powerhouse, forming a muscular, popular, democratic liberalism, and leveraging both a power bloc (probably a Trade League) and strong relations with our former colonies to bring Spain back to the forefront of world politics and global imperial power.
