The game is running a little bit better than before (check this video for comparison    • Returnal GTX 1060 FSR 1 & FSR 2 MOD Low Se...  ), but random framedrops still occur and make the game unplayable in my opinion. Loading into a new area or huge amounts of particle effects from enemies cause severe performance drops going from 50-70 down to 15-25. The problem seems to be the lack of VRAM as the 1060 has 3GBs.

April 19th PATCH NOTES:

• Upgraded to AMD FSR 2
• Added option to manually rebuild PSO cache to Settings &it Graphics
• Fixed specific hitches that can occur during boss fights
• Fixed out of world issue when loading into the start room of Crimson Wastes after suspending
• Fixed issue with sandstorm appearing where it shouldn't in Crimson Wastes
• Fixed issue with sandstorm vignette sometimes appearing on Crimson Wastes after suspending
