The Neuron System.
This is the artificial intelligence system that controls all unit actions and behaviors; it's sort of like their programming functions.
They range from sleeping and eating to fleeing, working, or even plotting.
Let's take a look.
WHAT ARE NEURONS?
In WorldBox, each action a unit can perform is represented by a neuron.
A neuron "activates" or "fires" when certain conditions are met and a certain amount of time passes.
For example, there are neurons for sleeping, eating, fleeing danger, looking for work, reproducing, etc.
As a player, you can activate or deactivate neurons, which allows or prohibits units from performing that action.
