A mere utterance of the name of a beloved holds the potential of rising waves of unfathomable emotions in the heart. The name alone paints a complete picture of His entire being. While that holds true even for mortal beings of this world, we derive knowledge from our scriptures about the paramount significance the name of the Lord holds in the spiritual realm. Krishna, being the absolute person, has absolutely no relative differences between Himself and His countless names. This bestows upon His devotees the supreme benediction of associating with Him through His innumerable names. And as many names, those many līlas! Every playful, loving, kind and miraculous act performed by Him didn't go unnoticed by His devotees who awarded Him with a name by which we can forever reminisce such acts. The sweetness of His persona can also be felt in His taking delight and accepting names associated with His many devotees. Each of these names holds in them the ability to permeate through our hearts and minds, the divinity of His being.
