Body Control by Richard Winters

Описание к видео Body Control by Richard Winters

To Richard Winters body control is not the main thing -- it's the only thing. As he explains it more refinement and more precision requires body control. Richard illustrates how to get control of the head and neck, the shoulders, the ribcage and the hind end. Richard shows you how he starts with the head and neck and the exercises he does to get the horse soft in his hands. Then he moves on to Part 2, the shoulders. Shoulder control helps when loping circles and has other practical applications. Part 3 is control of the ribcage. Part 4 is control of the hind end. Having control of the hindquarters helps in turning on the forehand, flying lead changes, etc. Richard explains that having control of all four body parts results in harmony and is really a means to an end. Each part is needed before your horse can progress to higher-level moves. more at www.spalding-labs.com
