A brief summary of all of the parks:

Halewood Park Triangle is Halewood's main public park, securing Green Flag Award in 2011. Consisting largely of mature woodland, with ponds, meadow habitat and heathland remnants, the Park is a designated Local Wildlife Site. Its layout is closely linked to its railway history. It formed part of the Liverpool Loop Line and the Transpennine Trail now follows the route leading southwards to Halewood Doorstep Green.

Stadt Moers Park is a large park separated into four parts by the M57 motorway and Railway line. They are West View, Pluckington, Pottery Fields and Tushingham. There are extensive pathways throughout this area which is excellent for both fauna and flora. There are some hilly areas and plenty of flat areas great for walks, jogging, cycling and nature watching, as well as having a big pond. It is a wonderful oasis in an urban area.

Mill Dam Park is Kirkby's Main Public Park. It boasts a combination of woodlands and meadows to explore, as well as Mill Dam lake, an established angling facility. A major new play facility also attracts families from far and wide. The site has great walking links, with Millbrook Park to the south and Charlotte's Pagsy to the north.

Court Hey Park is a large park in Huyton that is home to the National Wildflower Centre and Merseyside BioBank, as well as charitable organisations such as Merseycycle and Incredible Edible. The wooded areas within the park have some fine mature trees and wildlife and wildflowers are abundant with British Wildlife. The Park has ample walking, cycling and running facilities, as well as wide open spaces for recreational activities, even complete with its own Bowling Green.
