The 8th Pay Commission will come into effect from 1st January 2026, bringing 30%–50% salary hike for central government employees. Millions of employees and pensioners will benefit from this historic increase.

Employees working under Railways, Income Tax, Postal Department, Customs, and all central ministries will get revised pay. Armed forces personnel including Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and others will also see significant salary revisions.
