Spiritfarer's story touches on death, loss, grief, and the togetherness needed to get through tough times. It's a game that treats death with respect and realism, despite being about sailing a boat full with animal people. It's the only game I've played that combines the harsh reality of death with a warm blanket - its mechanics a support system for coping with loss. It's great.
