Since September 20, 2022, the day the Ebola epidemic was declared in Uganda, Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been working alongside the Ministry of Health to support medical care in the country.

In Mubende District, the epicentre of the epidemic, several Doctors Without Borders teams are currently deployed close to the patients. For example, some of them are visiting health centres or schools where Ebola patients have passed through to support prevention and infection control or to provide health promotion advice.
