Mike Love delivered a heartfelt tribute to his late cousin and Beach Boys bandmate, Brian Wilson, during his induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Just one day after Wilson's passing, Love shared, 'I do feel his presence' as he accepted the honor.

John Stamos, a long-time Beach Boys fan, inducted Love, praising him for chronicling 'the American dream' through his music. Love performed iconic hits like 'California Girls,' 'I Get Around,' 'Kokomo,' and 'Good Vibrations.'

The ceremony also honored George Clinton, The Doobie Brothers' Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, and Patrick Simmons, along with hitmakers Ashley Gorley, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, and Tony Macaulay. Stephen Schwartz received the Johnny Mercer Award, and Gracie Abrams was presented with the Hal David Starlight Award.
