Inside the Situation Room

This fall, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo will co-teach Inside the Situation Room, a new course on foreign policy decision-making.

The course employs insights from diverse academic fields—including political psychology, domestic politics, and international relations—as well as first-hand experience from those who were in the room as historic, high-pressure foreign policy decisions were made.

Inside the Situation Room is open to Columbia SIPA students, and undergraduate students from Columbia College, Barnard College, and Columbia University School of General Studies by application only.
