Boss CE2 vs Boss CE3

just got a used ce3 , a really relic one.
sounds surprisingly good , considering its price , it's only like 1/3 of ce2
but it sounds just as nice as ce2
in general , the ce2 sounds more vintage , fatter and more nature but a little bit too real , darker
the ce3 sounds brighter , has more high frequency , thinner
and other thing is that ce3 has two mode , normal chorus and pitch mode
if u turn up the rate knob in ce2 , it just naturally get vibrato , yet ce3 barely get shaky sound
anyway , i have already replace my ce2 with ce3 , cause i like the ce3 sound better and it fits what i usually play better

recorded with anderson drop top , drz maz 18 and shure sm57 , cubase , maudio interface
