The Schuyler Wide Margin Quentel NASB -- Full Review

Описание к видео The Schuyler Wide Margin Quentel NASB -- Full Review

A review of the Schuyler Wide Margin Quentel New American Standard Bible (NASB) in flexible black goatskin. This large volume features edge-line construction, a red leather liner, and a Smyth sewn text block with excellent 40 gsm paper. With this opaque paper and the line-matched text, ghosting is not an issue. Text is arranged into paragraphs in two reasonably narrow columns, and the 9.5 Milo font is attractive and readable. The outer margin is somewhat wider than the inner; I would have preferred it if the margins were equal in width.

My copy shows variations in print darkness, with the left-hand page often being darker than the right. I show the variation repeatedly in the video to demonstrate that it isn't an isolated phenomenon. Other issues include crooked ribbons, off-center lettering on the spine, and imperfect art gilting, but these are minor.

If you're looking for a wide-margin NASB and don't mind variations in print darkness, this may be the Bible for you. On the other hand, if you prefer a uniformly dark, bold typeface, you may wish to look elsewhere.
