Restoration CZ 250 471 from 1979 (Jawa)

In memory of my father…
A positive outcome of this quarantine is that I have been able to complete a project I started 17 years ago when I started looking for the same motorcycle model my father had before he sadly passed away, this was so I can restore it and ride in his memory.
3 years ago, I finally found the motorcycle and started the process of restauration, a particular detail can be seen on the side covers with the logo that my father had and that I modified for this project; the wings as he was an aviator and the number 555 representing the number of his pilot licence.
This 5 minute video is a short summary of the work, so after 3 years, I dedicate this bike to my father, Captain Gaston Vivado, who I am sure is laughing up there for all the cock ups I have made during the restoration of this motorcycle but I also hope he has a smile on his face every time I take the bike for a ride and he rides with me…
