All Settings on high (VRS OFF), 4k DLSS Quality

So this is basically my first attempt to record some 'proffesional' gameplay in HDR. Seeing how there is barely any gameplay for ff16 pc on youtube besides the demo, I took it upon myself to share some. Getting this to work relatively right, was quite the chore.

ETG here, so I just wanted everyone to give a quick insight into what went into recording this footage. It''s still really peak amateur hour, but I'm still learning and will share far better footage in the future.

So everyone online is recommending OBS, so that was my first recording software. Unfortunately I had a lot of problems trying to use it, from impacted performance, to suddenly it not working anymore and just refusing to show gamecapture.

So OBS out of the window, I resorted to use shadowplay, which actually works great if you use the max bitrate (don't listen to people and use 50 bit for 4k HDR, it looks like absolute shit in motion, maybe I'll make a future video showing the differences lol).
So I'm using Shadowplay and the nvidia hud for showing fps, gpu, cpu usage etc. Looking proudly at my recording to notice it didn't record the stats overlay (huh?), so I'm looking it up online and for some absolutely stupid reason shadowplay doesn't record the nvidia overlay ( If anyone reading working at Nvidia, please change this and add an option to have the file being saved into mkv, if you're at it).

So now I need to use another stats overlay software (ughhh, great), I first go to Rivatuner and Afterburner to do so, works amazingly, one problem though, freaking FPS is showing correctly!

That's a problem lol, so I resort to google and it recommends me presentmon from Intel, which actually seems to work great, untill.....

THE FPS IS STILL NOT RIGHT AAAAAGHHHHH, dunno why but it's not recording the framegen fps correctly.

I say F*** it and resort to use rivatuner with the freaking steam overlay fps (YES I'M SERIOUS). And this actually sort of works, after adjusting some placement in rivatuner.
Only after recording all the footage I noticed the CPU usage and gpu mem doesn't make sense.

At this point I basically said screw it and just started editing it in Premiere Pro (it's still edited like shit but I'm still learning, so it's gonna better).

TL;DR

Recording gameplay with correct stats and FrameGen sucks.
