Today I'm making homemade soda pop out of medicinal herbs. (I'm also sharing how I make a Mt. Dew-type syrup.) First we make the syrup out of herbs, sugar, Kool-aid and some minerals. Then we make it into a soda with a Fizzini and CO2 cartridges. I noticed this soda lowered my blood pressure when I drank it regularly. I don't know which herbs did it, or if it was the combination. My recipe changes ever time I make it because I decide to add new things each time. Here's the list of the exact herbs I used this time, but keep in mind it can be made in much smaller quantities with any herb you want (or with plain water rather than tea!)

2 Tbs. Acai berry
2 Tbs. Alflafa Leaf
2 Tbs. Amla
2 Tbs. Ascorbic Acid
2 Tbs. Ashwaghanda Root
2 Tbs. Astragulus Root
2 Tbs. Bitter Melon
2 Tbs. Butcher's Broom
2 Tbs. Burdock Root
2 Tbs. Celtic Sea Salt
2 Tbs. Chaste Tree Berries
1 Cinnamon Stick
1/2 cup Citric Acid
2 Tbs. Comfrey Root
2 Tbs. Dandelion Root
2 Tbs. Don Quai Root
2 Tbs. Epsom Salt
2 Tbs. Eyebright Leaf
2 Tbs. Fennel Seed
2 Tbs. Fenugreek
2 Tbs. Ginger Root
2 Tbs. Gymnema
2 Tbs. Hawthorn Berry
2 Tbs. Horehound
2 Tbs. Horse Chestnut
2 Tbs. Horsetail
2 Tbs. Juniper Berries
2 Tbs. Kava Kava
6 packets of Orange Kool-Aid
2 Tbs. Lady’s Mantle
2 Tbs. Lily of the Valley
2 Tbs. Licorice Root
2 Tbs. Maca
2 Tbs. Milk Thistle
2 Tbs. Motherwort
2 Tbs. MSM
2 Tbs. Nettle Leaf
2 Tbs. Oat Straw
2 Tbs. Parsley Leaf
2 Tbs. Pau d’Arco
2 Tbs. Raspberry Leaf
2 Tbs. Red Clover Leaf
Several slices of Reishi Mushroom
2 Tbs. Rhodiola Root
2 Tbs. Sassafrass Root
2 Tbs. Schisandra
2 Tbs. Shatavari Root
2 Tbs. Shepherd’s Purse
2 Tbs. White Oak Bark
2 Tbs. Wild Cherry Bark
2 Tbs. Wild Yam

Citric acid can be found in the canning aisle of most grocery stores. I buy mine in bulk from Bulk Supplements. That's also where I got the Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and the MSM powder.
