A different America with a different President came to Asia. One who was not arrogant, not colonial. One who said that all nations should be strong and prosperous, and should work together for mutual benefit. One who even praised the 2,000 year history of the Vietnamese determination to have independence. In the immediate wake of the trip, the relations of all the nations between each other have improved. China and Vietnam, Japan and China, South Korea and China, South Korea and Japan, and most all, all these nations relations with all the nations of South East Asia. A new era is emerging that is rejecting an imperial world and replacing it with a world of sovereign nations acting, as President John Quincy Adams once said, "in a harmony of interests." Even Russian Prime Minister Medvedev, at the ASEAN summit in Manila, had this to say after meeting Donald Trump, "he is open, and means well."

In the U.S. and in Europe the response to Trump's trip is the opposite: "Trump is selling out to totalitarian dictators, and to the Commies," all the while the same media is saying that Trump is a "right wing fascist" who will start a nuclear war with the same totalitarian dictators, and needs to be removed. But don't be fooled, it is not Trump that these people hate, it is the human race they hate, especially the fact that the Belt and Road Initiative will make it possible for a lot more humans to exist. Most of all, Donald Trump doesn't seem to share their elitist hatred of the human race. As the recent article in Global Times headlined, "U.S. participation in Belt and Road inevitable," by Wang Yiwei, director of the Institute of International Affairs at Renmin University, Trump's trip to China "will enable the U.S. to better learn about the potential prospects for economic cooperation..."
