Technical Expertise

This video is part of an ELIXR MERLOT faculty development module on Nurturing Student Creativity with Video Projects conducted by the University of Pennsylvania Libraries with Urban Studies faculty member Andrew Lamas.

Andrew enjoys helping his students take responsibility for their own technology training. He provides broad vision and structure for the video assignments and arranges for campus organizations to provide much of the hands-on training and equipment management. Many of his students begin their work with no prior experience with new media and quickly gain expertise with advanced video techniques. He inspires his students to set high technical standards for their creations. His students make films, slideshows, and a variety of other creative projects.
