I had another great night of sleep last night! Just consuming slightly more calories is definitely made an impact on my sleep quality and my workouts! Even though I am still in a deficit at around 1700 cal, it has allowed my body to feel slightly less stressed out, which has made a positive impact on both my sleep and workouts. I had a great back and bicep workout this morning! I really focused on the centric part of the motion. The eccentric part of the motion is when you are elongating the muscle. This recruits more muscle fibers which means more micro tears in the muscle tissue and therefore recruits more muscle building/muscle protein synthesis. Really focus on the centric part of the motion on all of your body parts when you exercise and you will get the most bang for your buck in muscle growth.
