Webinar #6: Mohammad Iranmanesh - Gliders as a novel platform for altered-gravity testing

In this webinar, Mohammad will talk about current Earth-based microgravity platforms and how gliders can be used to provide altered gravity conditions. He will also characterize the duration, quality, and repeatability of parabolas provided by gliders. In addition, Mohammad will describe the on-board experimental rack developed by LIDE and give some examples of experiments that can be performed on this platform. Finally, he will also talk about the current partnership between LIDE and SELGRA to offer students the opportunity to perform experiments in microgravity. More details here:
