Frigidaire dishwasher not draining

this dishwasher was not draining and the owner took it all apart but ended up being just a small clog at the top of the aerator cap usually that's where I start all my dishwasher repairs learned at the hard way. all the disassembly was unnecessary and the small part was broken during the search for a clog. if your dishwasher is not draining always look for an aerator next to the sink faucet take the shiny cap off and then the white cap off make sure you're not running the dishwasher while you doing it because you might get a spray in your face. sometimes a piece of glass could be stuck right at the bottom of the aerator where the hose connects and you can't see it in that case I still recommend taking the aerator all the parts before taking the part the dishwasher.
