The recent modern Korean art exhibition titled ‘The Space Between’ held at the Los Angeles County Museum (LACMA) and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea(MMCA), has generated serious interest amid the rising global popularity of Korean art, culture and history. The buzz surrounding the event was also fueled by BTS leader RM lending his voice for the audio guide. In this week’s edition of the Globalists, we sit down with LACMA curator Virginia Moon to take us behind the scenes of the exhibit and talk about the message she wanted to share with the world regarding Korea’s modern art history.
