Manor Lords Logging Camp Tips and Tricks

These are tips and tricks for the Logging camp in Manor Lords.
Manor Lords is still in early access; however, you can still purchase Manor Lords on Steam for PC
When your villagers have built a logging camp you can open the logging camp panel by clicking on the logging camp.
You can then click on the advanced button to bring up an option panel.
Where it says Limited Work Area you can click on the 'Hand' icon to adjust the area available to your logging camp workers.
Without an expanded work area; timber resource gathering seems to slow or even come to a halt at times.
1: Because the storage capacity is full or
2: The remaining trees nearby are few or none.
So click on the 'hand' icon and then a yellow circle appears that you can either shrink or grow larger by holding the Ctrl button and rolling your mouse wheel forward to grow and rolling your mouse wheel backwards to shrink.
You can then pick the area to left click and place where you want the work area to be and with its borders.
Be mindful not to overlap the hunting grounds as the game animals will only relocate so many times before leaving
the region all together and thereby losing a replenishable food resource.
Logging camp workers do NOT gather the logs after cutting them down and debranching them.
This is where unassigned workers come in and use the oxen, available at a hitching post, to move the logs in the storage of the logging camp.
When the logging camp becomes full the workers will not move timber to the storage warehouse.
So then it might be ideal to add more logging camps to increase space for your timber resource.
You don't have to add more logging camp workers as the unassigned workers and the oxen will move the fresh cut timber to the new logging camps that you add in turn increasing your available timber in the region queue where your village is.
You can replenish trees in the region by building and staffing a Foresters' Hut located in the construction panel under the gathering section.
You can also increase and select the work area in the 'Advanced tab' of your forester hut to place the trees in a specified area of the region.
