Remington Model 81: overview & brief history

Описание к видео Remington Model 81: overview & brief history

The Remington 81 was the direct descendant of the Model 8, a John Browning design and one of the first auto loading rifles. The Model 8 was also the rifle used to kill Clyde Barrow (Bonnie and Clyde) in 1934.

This particular one is chambered in 35 Remington, was manufactured in 1937, and has a Williams peep sight installed. It features and internal magazine which holds five rounds. Pretty powerful stuff for its day.
