Hi I am Bob, and I am here to help you to install your windshield today.

This is A-8 mount setup its use to fit on the CF30 / CF40 / CF50 universal windshields.

This is A-8 mounting hardware kit it includes 2 long rods, 2 handle bar clamps are adjustable to 78inch and 1inch, 2 Allen wrenches, 2T Knobs and 4 A8 mount barrels.

Here’s start install the hardware windshield, first of all we’re going to take the shield, we’re going to put the screws taken the A-8 barrels through the front of the 4models. Once all 4 screws are in you’ll then put the barrels on the backside of the shield thread it on to the screws, at this point take the barrels you line them up and twist them on. Do not tighten at this point just leave them loose just turn them until you feel just a little bit resistance and leave it at that we’ll need to adjust them more on the next step.
Once they’re all on and loosen you take the road and you follow it up through the bottom barrel and into the next barrel you do the same thing with the other side. Once those are in placed we’re ready to move it over the bike and put it onto the clamps, once we see approximately where the handle bar clamps need to be placed then we will go get the handle bar clamp disassemble them and then reassemble them on the bars.

There’s no exact placement for the clamp we design the clamp so it can be done it quite a few different angles, it can be twisted, barrels can be turned, can be slit up down and all depends on what type of handle bar and kind of motor cycle you have. So that full adjustability on the clamp. The way its mounted now is barrel setup behind can also be setup and flipped around so the barrels on the front of the bike. I find it easier to mount this by sitting on the bike from doing it from the back, people can do it anyway they want and for me it’s just easier this way. So what I do know, I lineup the rods on the barrels on the handle bar clamps and slide up in place. Now Remember the clamp should still be loosened so that you’ve got the ability to move them a little bit so everything could fall into place.

Once the rods are down in now it’s time to make some adjustments at this point I usually move the shield to the height in which I wanted at and then I’ll tighten the T Knob in place and I’ll do it to the other side. Once the T Knob are tighten in place you can make adjustments up and down along the upper rod once you get the height you want then you can start to tighten the set screws on the back of the A-8 barrels. Now that we’ve got the T knobs tighten and our set screws tighten now it’s time to tighten up our handlebar clamps you cannot over tighten these so don’t be worrying about stripping off the screws, go as hard as you can, once the handle bar clamps are tightened just make sure everything else hasn’t loosened up and everything’s at the angle you want and then you’re ready to go.
Remember after the first 100miles or the first full tank of gas whichever comes first double check everything to make sure vibration doesn’t cause loosening.
