Could you run on a race track for 24 hours straight? That’s what 170 runners did at a recent ultramarathon in Spain.

Competitors were tasked with one job: running as far as they could in a 24-hr span, making pit stops only when they needed food or restroom breaks.

The winning runner clocked a distance of approx 164 miles and is believed to have burned 18,000+ calories.
