Check your answers to the Listening Quiz about my most embarrassing memory:
Q1: Why was I embarrassed? A: I was embarrassed because on my first day of teaching English at a new school in Japan I had torn my pants and didn’t notice. As a result, there was a huge hole in my pants and an entire class of over 40 students saw my underwear.
Q2: How did I rip my pants? A: I ripped my pants trying to help my students clean the floor.
Q3: In what way did my coworker try to help me? (Hint- “In what way” means the same as ‘How’): A: My coworker told me about the problem and gave me her sweater to tie around my waist so no one could see the hole in my pants anymore.
