The day after Splash Mountain closed forever at Magic Kingdom, I decided to spent my day visiting both Universal and Disney to look at the construction walls that had been erected at both parks. I started my day at Universal Studios. After getting breakfast at The Today Cafe and riding the Revenge of the Mummy, I walked over to KidZone to see the status of the walls that had recently been put up around the area. I ended up riding the E.T. Adventure, and finally made my way out of the park to my car to drive to Walt Disney World. After getting a quick lunch at Casey's Corner, I took the Walt Disney World Railroad over to Frontierland to listen to the new spiel, and then got to see the new walls put up around Splash Mountain overnight for it's re-theme into Tiana's Bayou Adventure. On my way out of the park I rode the Peoplemover to see one final construction process update before the ride starts soft opening for previews, and started to go back to the parking lot right as the sun was starting to set.
