In Buddhism, flowers represent the beauty of enlightenment. Through this type of offering we refer to make an initial aspiration in order to accomplish Buddhahood one day. The typical material of offerings include simple objects, such as a lit candle or oil lamp, burning incense, flowers, food, fruit, water or tea etc.
