Each week's episode of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR requires about 35 to 40 hours in the studio to edit and prepare the video footage for showing on YouTube. If you'd like to support the creative work that goes into this effort, please consider becoming a PRODIGY Patron. For just $5 a month, you'll get early access to all our full-length episodes of PRODIGY. And for just $10 a month, you'll get early access to the full-length episodes AND have your name listed in the end credits as an Executive Producer. But most importantly, you'll feel a sense of ownership on these shows as you help me to continue spending my time each week working on PRODIGY instead of the stuff that otherwise keeps the lights on here in Coach RandyWorld. On today's edition of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR, we offer a special prize to the winner, as Coach Randy agrees to part with one box of his Girl Scout cookies (Thin Mints) to give a little added incentive to our players. So not only will the winner sign The Coveted Trophy Pin, but they'll feast on the addictive treats known as Thin Mints! YUMMM!!!
It's one of our rare handicap events, as the field was limited to just five players, and they happened to be of varied skill levels, which meant there weren't quite enough kids to do both a scratch and handicap division, and there was only one "Little," making "Bigs" and "Littles" divisions an impossiblity. (A bunch of our regulars were off at the Georgia Interstate All-Stars tournament in South Carolina.)
But on this day, we were met with some surprise visitors, and you'll learn all about them in the opening sequence. It was a highlight of the day.
As always, your comments are welcome and encouraged. We only ask that you keep your criticisms positive. In other words, if you're going to critique the kids, try to be helpful, not hurtful. Remember, the mission of PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR is to "Celebrate Junior Bowling and Elevate Junior Bowlers." If all you have to offer is to insult or demean our kids, your remark is sure to be deleted, and in the worst cases, you'll be blocked from posting here again.
If you like what you see here, please leave a "Thumbs Up" on the video. And if you love what we're doing here so much, then by all means, share our videos with your friends, family and bowling buddies on your social media feeds and in e-mail.
Also, if you want to keep up with all things PRODIGY, the best way to do it is to join our Facebook group. Type "Prodigy Bowlers Tour" into the search bar on Facebook and click ENTER/RETURN on your keyboard. That'll take you to a page where you can submit a request to join our group. But remember, YOU MUST ANSWER ALL THREE of our screening questions or your request to join the group will be declined. There are no right or wrong answers, but they do help us screen out spambots and lurkers who don't otherwise even know what PRODIGY is about. Help us keep the creeps out by answering the questions. If you don't, your request to be added to the group will be declined.
I hope you enjoy the show this week. It's got a little something for everyone.
Coach Randy
