"The ' Secret Mitre Dovetail' is a type of decorative dovetail joint that sacrifices structural strength for aesthetics. Examples include the Three-way Mitered Dovetail, which follows the same concept. I particularly enjoy using these visually pleasing dovetails in the construction of Japanese-style solid wood cabinets.

The difficulty in crafting them is quite high, and the level of challenge increases significantly when producing the final product. When examining the finished piece up close, there may be some slight deviations from perfect alignment, such as not having perfect 90-degree angles, making the process of fine-tuning more difficult. However, in my opinion, the overall effect of the finished product is still above average, with room for further improvement."
