Liquid Kids (aka Mizubaku Daibouken) is a fun, underrated arcade platformer from Taito, the masters of cutesy platform games.

It's probably best described as a sequel of sorts to the much more popular The New Zealand Story, once again featuring a quirky animal (a platypus this time) trying to rescue its friends.
This game sets itself apart a bit from other similar games, and Japanese platform games of the time especially, by having a mild physics simulation, meaning you have to be careful of the flow of water pushing you. Also, enemies typically take a ton of hits, and don't really give much feedback on whether they are taking damage. These aspects can make the game feel a little awkward to play, but it still remains fun.

Overall it's a fairly easy game, and this video demonstrates what I feel is definitely the easiest route through the game for a quick 1CC, utilizing a bunch of hidden warps along the way, and skipping the pyramid boss. For some reason most other clears on YouTube tend to pick the other route through the final stage, which IMO is a lot more tedious due to all the enemies you have to wait around for. The one I use is quick and simple. :)
