Thanks for viewing our Book Study on the book, "In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day" by Mark Batterson. It's a great book about Godly courage and making the most of opportunities in life through Christ.

This week we look at Ch. 1 which is entitled, “Locking Eyes with your Lion”. It talks about how God uses our past experiences to prepare us for future opportunities and that God is always trying to place us strategically at the right place at the right time to prepare us for our future. He also talks about writing out our vision for life plainly. He uses the Scripture given in Habakkuk 2:3, “Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
