The entire process begins with a full coil of Ø4 tube being straightened and its zinc coating removed. It is then orbitally cut to length, and both ends are wrapped with adhesive tape. The tube ends then undergo a finishing process: they are first faced to ensure a smooth surface, followed by a two-stage internal expansion to Ø3.6 and then to a final Ø4.2. After expansion, the ends are blown clean and purged with nitrogen to prevent oxidation. For bending, 15 tubes are aligned and fed collectively, with tape being applied to the bundle during feeding itself. Following the automated bending cycle, a guide arm automatically unloads the formed tubes from the worktable, after which any necessary minor corrective bending is performed manually. The process concludes with the finished tubes being placed onto a conveyor belt.
