Hello everyone, we were fortunate enough to catch up with John Primer in the Green Room before his show. He was headlining at Buddy Guy’s Legends Blues Club in Chicago.

So listen, I truly believe that music is the key to the fountain of youth for many people. Mr. Primer, Blues Hall of Fame, 3 time Grammy Nominee is 79 years young at the time of this interview and as you will see in the interview he is in amazing condition.

We talked about his Grammy nomination for 2024 Traditional Blues Album of the year, his time at the legendary Teresa’s Lounge and Rosa’s Blues Club in Chicago, Illinois.

As a matter of fact, John is the last guitar player for Blues Legend, Muddy Waters and John also worked with Magic Slim for a number of years as well. He tours, he’s in the studio working on new music and is booked and busy most of the time! John has wonderful energy and love for his work.
