HOW TO WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM SEEDBOX & AVOID MY MISTAKE!

In this video I'm sharing how you can withdraw your funds from your investments in Seedbox Philippines! Previously, I've shared with you how I invested in US Stocks through Equity Funds available from ATRAM via Seedbox Philippines. While I've focused on the investment side of things and how you can get started, I haven't covered the process on how you can redeem your funds and withdraw them when you need to. Since this was a question posted on my comments section, I felt that it's equally important to share with you this process. While I expected this process to be painless, I had a peculiar experience to say the least. My redemption from Seedbox PH took on a 3-month journey before I finally got the funds in my bank account this February 2021! To be fair, it was a crucial mistake on my end that led to this delay. It was my own error in inputting wrong bank account details which led to my funds being in limbo for a few months. This was a mistake on my end but I'm sharing my experience since I know others can easily make the same mistake that I have. While this was my own mistake, I do think that improvements can be made on the Seedbox PH platform to make sure that such manual errors can be alleviated. Mistakes will be made, so on the side of user-experience design, improvements can be done for the benefit of all users. This might have been a personal mishap on my end, but I'm sure I won't be the last. Hopefully, Seedbox PH improves their processes for quicker turnaround time in customer support. What do you do when you've realized you've placed incorrect bank account details on your Seedbox PH account? Can you still retrieve your funds? Are there penalties? These are the questions I'll look to answer in this video!

To redeem your funds from Seedbox PH, take note of these steps:
1. Log-in to your Seedbox PH Account
2. Proceed to your Dashboard where you can view all your ATRAM UITF investments
3. Select the fund that you would like to make your redemption form
4. Click on "-", the minus button representing redemption
5. Select between Full Redemption or Partial Redemption
6. If partial redemption, you can use the toggle to indicate the percentage of the amount you'd like to redeem
7. Click on the check-box to agree to terms regarding your redepmtion of your ATRAM funds
8. Press the confirm button to proceed
9. Verify the details of your redemption from Seedbox PH through the automated email sent to your registered address
10. For equity funds, crediting to your bank account will happen within 5-business days. For bond funds, crediting to your bank account will happen within 7-business days. Please take not of cut-off periods to verify if your funds will meet today's cut-off or be processed on the next banking day
11. View your funds on your registered bank account

Just as a refresher, there were 3 ATRAM UITF's that I invested in:

#1 - ATRAM Global Technology Feeder Fund targeting the MSCI AC World Information Technology Index (Morgan Stanley Corp All Country) via Fidelity Funds* Apple, Alphabet (parent company of Google), Visa, and Intel

#2 ATRAM Global Consumer Trends Fund targeting the MSCI World Consumer Net Index via Invesco Globalco Consumer Trends Fund* Amazon, Alibaba, Caesars Entertainment, Nintendo, and SEA Limited (Shopee, Garena)Since I've wanted this investment review of the ATRAM UITF's to be a thorough comparison, I invested in the same two funds via Seedbox Philippines as well with roughly the same investment capital. Upon exploring, my biggest discovery is the number of investment funds that ATRAM has available. Step 1: From the Seedbox PH website, select the ATRAM UITF's you want to invest in
Step 2: Indicate the Investment Amount on Your Shopping Cart
Step 3: Checkout & Select Payment Method
Step 4: Confirm Order via OTP
Step 5: Via BDO Online Banking, enroll ATRAM Trust Corp as your New Biller* Ensure you enroll the correct subscriber number* If investing in more than 1 ATRAM UITF, you need to enroll ATRAM Trust Corp PER FUND
Step 6: Pay the Exact Amount* Take note of Payment Deadline * If investing more than 1 ATRAM UITF, you need to settle each payment separately* Ensure that the invested amount matches your confirmed order
Step 7: Receive Email Confirmation Order After 2 Business Days
