1931 Ted Wallace - Home (vocal trio, incl. Elmer Feldkamp)

The popular 1931-32 ballad was co-written by bandleader Peter Van Steeden (here’s his version:    • 1932 HITS ARCHIVE: Home (When Shadows...   ). ‘Ted Wallace’ was one of the pseudonyms used on record by bandleader-vocalist-organizer Wallace T. “Ed” Kirkeby, remembered as manager of the California Ramblers and Fats Waller.
