ICAC Art Gallery

ICAC is proud to announce the exhibition of artworks by 80 students of Sheth C N College of Fine Arts created at ICAC Art Gallery, Ahmedabad.

After the three successful shows of their new Art Gallery in Ahmedabad, and its timeless bond with the C.N College of fine art and its students, Bharat Patani and Ravindra Mardia are coming together bringing new era of tribute culture to the mentors whose devotion in the field of art is epic. These duo believes that after spending years in the art industry what an artists remembers is the memorable time they had with the mentors and the wisdom given by them in direct and indirect ways which not only includes art but helps one to grow as a human being.

In Indian Culture, Gurus or the mentors are highly respected and honoured but they never gets the credit what they deserved in their lives. They nourish, they nurture and they enlighten the soul. They make a human a soulful being. The duo Ravindra Mardia and Bharat Patani has also done several projects together in past which includes residency and graphic printmaking camps for student artists. All the participating artists have worked together on several projects with ICAC and they have been always bringing innovative ideas to come up with new projects in India and Abroad. Their efforts in making the show successful were fantastic and it was their idea to come together for their mentor.

It would be a delightful retreat to see 80 artists coming together in one show. These will be one of the best example of Indian Culture and its values and will also be a visual retreat for citizens of Ahmedabad to see the versatile artists coming together for an event.

The artworks are created at the Gallery. Five artists will get a chance to have their solo shows in the Gallery.

The show is to be inaugurated on 16th March, 2020 at 5:30 pm. The exhibition is open for all till 19th March, 2020 from 11am to 7pm at ICAC ART Gallery, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Asavari Tower Road, Behind Mondreal Heights, Ramdevnagar, Ahmedabad.

The ICAC Art Gallery aims to provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by senior national and international artists, whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in Ahmedabad.
