Where to get WAGYU BEEF in Kyoto 🥩 Teppan Tavern Tenamonya 🌱 with Vegetarian / Vegan Options 🌱

Teppan Tavern Tenamonya is a family-run teppanyaki restaurant in Kyoto that serves affordable A5 wagyu beef, and also has vegetarian / vegan and gluten-free options (very rare!).

This is one of the best meals we've had in Japan! We wanted to try everything on the menu. Teppan Tavern Tennamonya is such a friendly, authentic, local restaurant with delicious food. It's in central Kyoto, right by Gion and very close to Yasaka Shrine. They serve affordable set meals with Japanese wagyu beef and top quality food, as well as other grilled meat, fish and vegetables, okonomiyaki and yakisoba, and there's an great izakaya-style selection of drinks. There's a full page of options for vegans and vegetarians, and several gluten-free options. It's the only restaurant I've found in Japan that serves genuine wagyu beef and vegetarian options. The video includes how to make reservations, which are required if you want to go there. After your meal, Yasaka shrine is perfect for an after dinner stroll. It looks so beautiful with the lanterns illuminated at night!
