How to review your practice questions quickly and efficiently ⬇️ sponsored by @truelearn ✨

1. If you get the question right, skim through it very quickly and make sure you got it right for the right reasons. If I am taking a guess sometimes I leave a flag on these questions so I know that even if it’s correct to review it. If I got it right and I knew it, I move along and don’t spend time on it!

2. Read the correct answer and explanation first! Then go back and re-read the question stem while asking yourself what the question writer was trying to communicate with you. Look for patterns here and specific descriptors.
3. After this try to figure out why you missed it. Did you misread? Did you go to fast? Did you think they were describing something different?

4. Write a note to yourself or make an a mi card if you feel like that may help. Often times I only make Anki cards if I forgot an important fact that made me miss the question. If it’s because I misread or just hadn’t heard that presentation I just read it, synthesize what went wrong in my head and move on!

5. Lastly don’t spend time looking at the wrong answers unless it’s the wrong answer you chose. It’s a waste to spend time looking at answers they didn’t want you to pick anyway!! Use your mental energy elsewhere and don’t confuse yourself!
