We had the honour of meeting His Majesty King Mswati III to share the transformative impact of our work in the Hhohho Region.

We highlighted our efforts in Madlangempisi, where we have been working for 15 years, with support from World Vision Korea, contributing to the community’s development by delivering programmes on livelihoods, health, HIV, child protection, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and humanitarian emergency support (including food distribution and food-for-assets).

Additionally, we shared our work in the Hhohho and other Regions in WASH, acknowledging His Majesty’s recent Speech from the Throne, where he noted that the country’s water coverage currently stands at 75%, with a vision to achieve universal service coverage. We reaffirmed our commitment to partnering with government to achieve sustainable development goal (SDG) #6 by investing E125 million to achieve universal service coverage in 15 Tinkhundla (constituencies) over the next four years.

His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the work World Vision does in the country and encouraged the organisation to continue serving communities across Eswatini.
