Man calling up radio phone service (natural sound). C/U switchboard operators taking the call. C/U man stating the number and the whereabouts of the car phone he wants to contact. C/U switchboard operators contacting the car. Travel shot alongside car: man talks to the boss back in the office by car phone. C/U radio car telephone on the dashboard. Travel shot alongside car with man on phone, natural sound ends here.



Light hearted comic scene: M/S Car drawing up outside pub. C/U Public Bar sign. M/S two men walking towards the pub doors, they hear the phone ringing from inside the car, and one of them returns to answer it. Interior, man answers the phone and we hear his wife's voice: she nags him in broad Lancashire accent. C/U man listening to his wife and looking irritated. He gets fed up with wife's voice so he places his hat over the phone speaker and leaves to go in the pub. C/U hat over speaker.
